Head of CLO Data Analytics and Research, Senior Vice President, Head of CLO Data Analytics and Research
As head of CLO Data Analytics and Research at U.S. Bank, Sean is responsible for providing clients with portfolio management tools and market insights. Since joining U.S. Bank in April 2020, Sean and his team have built new analytic tools for the U.S. Bank Pivot portal and have structured the firm’s market data to support future research publications. Prior to joining U.S. Bank, Sean held leadership roles on the buy side where he managed either the refinement or implementation of CLO business infrastructure. He started his career at Van Kampen where he managed operations before joining a team responsible for reviving two distressed CLOs. He was a founding partner of Tall Tree Investment Management responsible for deal issuance activities, including document negotiation, compliance setup and portfolio modeling. He then went to PPM America where he managed the firm’s middle office, launched its change management practice and built its CLO operations platform.
Education and credentials
Sean earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Duke University and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business with concentrations in analytic finance and econometrics/statistics.
